Del Mar Cottage Remodel

The homeowner sought to renovate a Del Mar cottage with ocean views to create a clean, comfortable, and cozy space for their family, while also accommodating their work-from-home needs. Starting with the open cottage floor plan, the project entailed a complete remodel within the existing structure. The kitchen was fully updated with new cabinets, granite countertops, and all new appliances. An accent wall with shiplap was added leading to the lower level. All bathrooms were remodeled using white and neutral tones with natural wood cabinets. The walls and ceilings were painted white to create a bright ambiance, complemented by warm tones from natural wood and leather chairs. The result is a beautifully updated warm and inviting cottage that maintains the cozy charm of a Del Mar home by the sea.
